A growing FinTech scale up in London are looking to hire a Head of Product Delivery, this will be a hybrid role in their central London office. You will be responsible for providing oversight of and maturing the delivery function acting as part of the businesses Technology Executive Committee (Global CIO, Head of Technology, Head of Engineering, Head of Service Delivery). The role will also be working closely with the product committee who are spread across the globe to deliver the product roadmap that the scrum teams will deliver. You will operate between leadership, technology, and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, prioritisation, and execution of initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Product Roadmap Definition & Communication: Collaborate with the Product Committee to define the product roadmap based on business inputs from the executive leadership team, clients and key internal business stakeholders alongside feasibility and complexity assessments from technical stakeholders.
- Delivery Optimisation & Execution: Work closely with technology teams to oversee the successful delivery of features and products, ensuring alignment with defined requirements and timelines via Scrum Master, Tech Lead, Product Owner, Product Delivery Manager and Business Analyst roles. Implement effective tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure delivery goals are met.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Supporting Product Delivery Manager role to ensure they act as a central point of coordination between business, product, and technology teams, ensuring alignment across all functions. Proactively address challenges and roadblocks, ensuring smooth execution of the product roadmap.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in product delivery, programme management, or a similar role within a complex business environment.
- Experience in optimising product delivery frameworks for efficiency and scalability.
- Experience in working within a start-up or scale-up environment with a complex stakeholder landscape and facing off to clients & customers.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and delivery frameworks and applying select elements of these that are relevant.
- Strong ability to engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders, aligning diverse inputs into a cohesive roadmap.
