I'm keen to speak with Designers who would like to own and evolve the user experience, design standards, and design framework for a major platform.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about creating intuitive user experiences while driving consistency, quality, and adoption across the product. You'll be the custodian of the design system, ensuring that user-centred design principles are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
Working closely with product teams, developers, business analysts, AI-enabled delivery teams, and key stakeholders, you'll ensure that designs are not only visually compelling but are implemented effectively and deliver measurable value to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the design framework, standards, and design system.
- Manage and govern design assets within Figma, ensuring consistency across the platform.
- Define and champion UX best practices and design principles.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and consistently.
- Provide UX leadership across product initiatives, influencing decisions through user insight and data.
- Support wireframing, prototyping, and concept validation where required.
- Leverage emerging AI-enabled design approaches and tools to improve design efficiency and outcomes.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in a UX position, with at least 3 years experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX and design system ownership.
- Strong Figma skills, including component libraries, design systems, and prototyping.
- Deep understanding of user-centred design methodologies and UX best practices.
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams in agile environments.
- Ability to use data, research, and user insights to challenge assumptions and influence decision-making.
