One of the Channel Islands leading financial services organizations in the private wealth / trust space is looking to add an experienced FP&A Analyst to their high-performing finance team. The role will work under the FP&A Manager, who is an outstanding professional and mentor, so the growth opportunities in the role are excellent. The firm has gone from strength in recent years and continues to grow globally across all their key jurisdictions. With the firm being a multi-national, the role will be Jersey based but will have an international remit. This team forms a highly important part of the current business and is integral to their future growth plans. It's such a fascinating role and this function plays a key part internally in driving the key strategic initiatives and business growth.

The role:

  • Support and assist with the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the quarterly and annual budget forecasts
  • Prepare financial models, which will include revenue and expense projections, for use in key strategic planning for the wider business
  • Analyse variances between actual financial results and budget / forecast, identifying any trends and actionable insights
  • Support the preparation of periodic management reporting, including performance analysis and financial summaries
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across the various financial systems and reports
  • Monitor and report on business trends and key performance indicators that impact profitability and operational efficiency
  • Act as a business partner with the wider management team

The firm is ideally targeting those coming from an FP&A background and those with 3-4 years’ experience in the space.
