First Aid Instructor
We’re seeking a First Aid Instructor to join our client based up in Aberdeen.
This role involves delivering accredited first aid and medical response courses to a diverse range of learners professionally and engagingly.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a suite of accredited first aid and medical training courses.
- Support learners throughout their training journey.
- Participate in standardisation and professional development activities.
- Mentor trainee instructors and contribute to course development.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the team to improve and expand training offerings.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Be calm, methodical, and an excellent communicator.
- Have strong technical knowledge and leadership skills.
- Be highly organised and able to manage competing priorities.
- Provide constructive feedback and support learner development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Practitioner, Nurse, or Paramedic certification
- Valid HSE or SQA First Aid certificate
- Recognised Assessor qualification
- Level 3 Teaching Qualification
- FREC Level 3 or 4
- Mental Health First Aid certification
- Offshore emergency response or ERRV crew experience
- Knowledge of prehospital care practices
