MRG is working exclusively with a global integrated solutions provider, serving original equipment manufacturers, commercial airlines, militaries, oil & gas companies, and power companies, in their search for an EMEA Regional Sales Manager.
This role can be based anywhere across Europe, as our client looks to expand their reach into new territories, following an exciting period of growth!
Main Focus:
The EMEA Regional Sales Manager’s main responsibilities will be to drive business growth across Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Africa. The role is primarily 80% sales-focused and 20% business development, requiring a strategic approach to growing revenue through both transactional and contractual sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned regions, establishing clear sales targets for all energy products.
- Identify and implement the most effective routes to market (e.g., agency agreements).
- Lead direct sales efforts for key accounts and countries, managing transactional sales and multi-year service agreements (LTSA).
- Maintain and develop customer relationships to drive long-term growth and market expansion.
- Provide sales data and forecasting using the company CRM to support short-, medium-, and long-term sales strategies.
Proposal & Contract Management:
- Oversee the development and submission of proposals and tenders, ensuring:
- Compliance with internal approvals and Delegation of Authority.
- Alignment with customer expectations and competitive pricing.
- Timely submission and follow-up.
- Negotiate high-value, multi-year agreements in collaboration with the Commercial Director or General Manager.
- Support and develop new business sectors and geographic expansion across Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Africa.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong background in heavy frame GE gas turbines or extensive experience in industrial gas turbines is essential.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven expertise in direct sales and customer relationship management.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in contract negotiation.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue.
