We are excited to introduce a new Analyst role within a fast-growing Ecommerce business in the Northeast of Glasgow, part of a well-known portfolio of leading Glasgow brands. This role is key as the company scales its Ecommerce operations, building on a successful foundation with a turnover approaching £6 million. With ambitious projects underway and having just relaunched their site, the business is geared up for significant growth. If you have a background in data analysis, reporting, and operational support, this could be the perfect next step for you.

About the Role: As a Data & Insights Analyst, you’ll play a key role in managing and analysing business data, developing reports and dashboards, and delivering insights that drive decision-making. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, you’ll also support the smooth running of key operational systems and integrations, ensuring business processes remain efficient and data-led.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Extracting and preparing regular reports from sales platforms, marketplaces, and operational systems.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards to track sales, returns, traffic, customer behaviour, and operational performance.
  • Identifying, investigating, and resolving data anomalies such as stock inconsistencies or reporting errors.
  • Analysing performance trends including customer journey data, paid media activity, and operational metrics.
  • Collaborating with department heads to automate, enhance, and streamline reporting processes.
  • Supporting day-to-day operational systems and integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and process efficiency.
  • Assisting with onboarding and maintaining user accounts, hardware, and software tools as required.
  • Liaising with external platform and software providers when needed to resolve issues or optimise integrations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a data analysis, reporting, or operational support role within an eCommerce or digital environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, pivot tables, lookups, and dashboard creation.
  • Experience extracting and interpreting data from sales platforms, operational systems, or marketplaces.
  • Ability to communicate insights and technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a wider team.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new digital tools, platforms, and reporting technologies.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central or other marketplace tools.
  • Understanding of digital marketing metrics and performance analytics.
