Mac Recruit Group are delighted to be working with one of our long standing clients as they are looking to welcome a Financial Accountant to the team.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports, ensuring compliance with Group reporting deadlines and accounting standards.
- Manage core financial operations, including balance sheet reconciliations, deferred tax schedules, and treasury activities such as forward exchange transactions, bank guarantees, and account balances.
- Lead the year-end audit process, acting as the main point of contact for external auditors across UK and selected international entities.
- Handle tax compliance, including preparation of Corporation Tax returns, domestic and overseas VAT filings, and support transfer pricing documentation.
- Contribute to financial planning and analysis through rolling forecasts, business plans, and financial due diligence for acquisitions.
- Support integration of newly acquired entities and ensure alignment with Group financial systems, policies, and internal controls.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure timely submission of all statutory and regulatory filings, including National Statistics returns.
- Provide general financial and administrative support across the Finance and Purchasing teams as needed.
