Our client is a high-growth, globally respected Fund Administration specialist is actively recruiting for a Compliance Manager to join its expanding London team.
This role is critical to maintaining the firm\’s robust risk framework, focusing specifically on compliance relating to its core UK, European and Offshore client base. The firm works with some of the largest names in the financial services industry and boasts a truly impressive global reach.
This is a chance to move beyond domestic UK compliance and support the firms wider global compliance operations in locations such as the Cayman Islands.
Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the London-based Compliance Team, you will provide specialist regulatory compliance support across all business lines, ensuring the integrity of the firm’s offshore fund services platform.
- Risk Framework Oversight: Help operate, develop, and enhance the firm’s risk and compliance framework, with a specific focus on risk mitigation and challenge in a cross-jurisdictional context.
- Specialist AML/KYC: Be a final-stage reviewer for complex KYC/AML/ATF/APF files for high-risk clients, investors, and PEPs. Advise the business on high-risk activities such as third-party payments.
- Regulatory Filings & Reporting: Take ownership of the preparation and delivery of regulatory reports, including quarterly Compliance Monitoring Programs for the Board and mandatory annual surveys/filings to the the UK and Cayman Islands financial regulators
- Sanctions & Audit: Oversee sanctions screening processes and manage potential filings of regulatory compliance reports. Coordinate activities around external compliance audits.
- Culture & Documentation: Act as a champion for a strong compliance culture and ensure Group Risk and Compliance objectives are accurately assessed and documented.
What You\’ll Bring
- Proven experience at Manager level (or equivalent) in Compliance, Financial Crime, or Risk within the Funds, Fund Administration, or Investment Management sector in London.
- Crucial Requirement: Extensive, hands-on experience dealing with Cayman Islands financial regulations and/or direct experience working within the Cayman Islands financial services market is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of AML/ATF/APF requirements specific to offshore jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and challenge senior stakeholders and the business.
