Our customers include civil engineering and construction contractors, asset owners, and consulting engineering firms through to small builders.
We are seeking a highly capable Executive Administrator to provide trusted, high level support to the Managing Director and assist the company board. This is a pivotal role acting as the MD's right hand ensuring smooth efficient running of their day‐to‐day activity.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, confidential EA support to the Managing Director
- Manage a complex and constantly changing diary, prioritising effectively
- Act as a key point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders
- Prepare, edit and coordinate board papers, reports, presentations and correspondence
- Organise meetings, travel and events, including agendas and follow‐up actions
- Proactively manage inboxes, filtering and responding where appropriate
- Support governance requirements, including board and leadership meetings
- Anticipate issues, resolve problems independently, and keep the MD fully informed
- Build strong working relationships across the business to facilitate effective communication
What You Need
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a senior executive (MD / CEO / Executive Director)
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging at senior level
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
- Proactive, solutions‐focused, and comfortable working with ambiguity
- Strong IT skills, including MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Able to work independently while remaining a trusted partner to the MD
