We are a leading temporary works specialist and at the forefront of our industry for over 60 years, with a reputation built on engineering and service excellence. This enables us to deliver the right temporary works solution for our customers, whatever the scale or complexity of the project. Our customers include civil engineering and construction contractors, asset owners, and consulting engineering firms through to small builders.

We are currently looking for a Yard Foreman in the Inverness area to support our growing operations team. This is a fantastic role which will allow the successful candidate to upskill and develop through the company. You will find more details below.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, develop and appraise Yard operatives to achieve a high performing team
  • Review equipment and take action to correct and repair damages to ensure kit is fit for use
  • Manage transport activities within the depot to ensure the most efficient and cost effective use of company vehicles and/or external haulier
  • Be aware of the Statutory Transport Legislation and ensure compliance
  • Monitor loading and stacking against picking lists and other authorised documentation ensuring accuracy of delivery of stock
  • Comply with Health and Safety requirements in depot to ensure loading, unloading and moving stock is carried out in a safe and secure environment
  • Drive and develop a customer service culture and effective communication to enable optimal working methods

  • Experience in a similar sector / industry
  • FLT Licence
  • Full UK Driving Licence
