We are looking for an experienced Project Architect with a strong background in professional practice to join our Nottingham studio. This role will involve overseeing projects across all stages, from concept through to completion, leading project teams, coordinating consultants and ensuring design intent is carried through to delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding project delivery, mentoring team members and contributing to the continued growth and development of the studio as projects evolve.
Key responsibilities:- Lead architectural projects from concept design through to completion
- Manage project programmes, deliverables and design coordination
- Prepare and review planning, technical and construction drawing packages
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and wider project teams
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget and quality requirements
- Oversee compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning requirements and industry standards
- Mentor and support junior members of the architectural team
- Attend client meetings, design reviews and site visits as required
- Contribute to project problem-solving and technical design development throughout all project stages
- 5 years of post Part 3 experience ARB registered
- You must have demonstrable experience working as an Architect in a commercial setting.
- Strong design, drawing and presentation skills demonstrated through your portfolio
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects, with experience in all phases of the design process, from conceptualisation to construction oversight.
- Proficiency in relevant 3D BIM software such as Revit or ArchiCAD.
- Project experience working on both new build and existing buildings
- Project experience in the following sectors: Education, Industrial / Advanced Manufacturing, Residential, Facade Remediation.
- ArchiCAD experience (however, training will be provided)
