We are looking for an experienced Information Manager to join our dedicated Digital Team. The role is at the forefront of delivering high-quality Information Management and BIM services in accordance with ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework. The role is instrumental in coordinating BIM workflows, ensuring seamless collaboration among project teams, and leveraging technology to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our project delivery.

Key responsibilities:
  • Review project IM requirements, including arranging meetings with Clients & Stakeholders, to produce delivery team BIM documentation - BEPs, DRMs, TIDPs.
  • Establish information management validation toolkits through Solibri & IDS to allow for the effective review of model information.
  • Conduct regular, structured reviews of federated IFC models including geometric clash detection and asset data validation.
  • Manage issue tracking with an online collaboration platform and chair BIM Coordination meetings for timely resolution of issues.
  • Provide training to project design teams & supply chain partners in order for them to complete BIM deliverables inline with project requirements.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between multidisciplinary project teams to enhance the utilisation of BIM throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide internal training and support to team members on BIM tools, workflows, and best practices to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide internal support to Maber staff in the setup of BIM models, export to IFC and upload to Common Data Environments.
  • Stay abreast of emerging BIM technologies and trends, recommending and implementing tools that enhance project outcomes.
  • Develop internal company systems and processes to maximise utilisation of BIM technologies.
  • Support the Head of Digital in preparing fees & bids for Information Management services.
Essential requirements:
  • Proficient in Revit, Solibri and BIM Interoperability Tools.
  • The ability to translate complex IM requirements into pragmatic and accessible guidance, delivered through clear BIM documentation.
  • A deep understanding of IFC hierarchy, export settings & best practices.
  • A working knowledge of COBie data, delivery through IFC and supporting teams in meeting project IM requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of the ISO19650 suite and associated BIM standards.
  • Good understanding of UK construction processes including tender response, procurement, design & construction.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Architectural, Structural & MEP design principles to allow for effective clash detection management.
  • Leadership experience with BIM teams or digital delivery professionals including mentoring or training others in BIM processes and tools.
  • Motivation to work as part of a team and to manage own time and workload.
  • The ability to listen to respectful challenge and to use it as encouragement to develop.
  • Excellent written & spoken English resulting in clear, confident communication with clients, supply chain and internal stakeholders.
Desirable requirements:
  • Proficient in Archicad (Maber primary BIM Authoring Tool).
  • Experience using Common Data Environments (CDE’s) such as Viewpoint & Asite.
  • Experience in delivering Public Sector framework IM requirements such as the DFE Construction Framework (CF21/25).
  • Knowledge of .BCF collaboration platforms such as BIMCollab.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and Power BI dashboarding.
  • A recognised BIM-related qualification is desirable but not essential. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
