MAAREE is a Founder-led women's sports bra brand, built on the belief that women deserve gear that actually performs, whatever their size. We're a small, fast-moving team obsessed with getting the fit, the fabric, and the support right, and we're growing our direct-to-consumer business at pace.
We're looking for a CRM Manager to own email, SMS, and customer data at MAAREE, driving subscriber growth and engagement through smart segmentation and high-performing flows and campaigns. You'll be creative and hands-on, and genuinely energised by using data to improve results. You'll work closely with the team on email/SMS execution and integrating activations with the brand and social team, and partner with MAAREE's performance marketing agency to make sure CRM is built into paid search and social campaigns from the start.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- CRM Strategy, Lifecycle & Campaigns: Own MAAREE's CRM strategy across email and SMS, with a track record of growing subscriber numbers and engagement. Build, manage, and create high-performing lifecycle flows (welcome, abandoned cart/browse, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back) and one-off campaigns. Bring a creative, test-and-learn mindset by using data to improve results, not just report on them. Own global list growth and engagement, driving our D2C business across all regions with effective, on-brand campaigns and messages.
- SMS Marketing: Own MAAREE's SMS channel end-to-end, with a strong understanding of best-practice execution on timing, frequency, segmentation, and compliance. Integrate SMS seamlessly with email and the wider campaign calendar for a joined-up customer experience. Own SMS flows, seasonality adjustments, personalisation and AB testing.
- Data, Reporting & Budget: Interpret Shopify and GA4 data to understand customer behaviour and identify opportunities to grow the D2C channel. Build and own CRM reporting, communicating results to the wider business and influencing commercial roadmap. Create and manage the CRM budget; tooling, list growth, and testing spend, and reporting on ROI.
- Affiliate Marketing (New Channel): Plan and launch MAAREE's affiliate network from the ground up; you’ll be given ownership to research and select platforms, recruit and onboard partners, and set commission structures. Monitor affiliate performance closely and use results to shape future investment decisions.
- Cross-team Integration: Work closely with teams on email/SMS execution, organic social and brand to ensure all integrated campaigns land effectively. Partner with MAAREE's performance marketing agency to align CRM segmentation and messaging with paid search and paid social activity. Feed CRM and affiliate insight into wider campaign planning.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven CRM experience with a track record of growing subscribers and engagement, and hands-on creation/management of flows and campaigns (ideally Klaviyo).
- Confident interpreting Shopify and GA4 data to inform decisions.
- Experience creating and managing a marketing budget.
- Comfortable collaborating across a small team and with external agency partners.
- Autonomous worker with a team mentality.
- Creative and curious, with a genuine energy for data-driven results.
- Action-driven and looking to have an impact on a small, fast-growing business.
- Understanding of SMS marketing and how to execute it well.
- Experience setting up new marketing channels from scratch.
- Career history in D2C, fashion, apparel, sport, or womens’ brands.
PRACTICAL DETAILS
- Location: Hybrid — Berkhamsted HQ (typically 2–3 days/week). Open to remote for the right candidate.
- Reports to: COO & CMO.
- Contract: Full-time, permanent.
