Blue Arrow are looking for a Print Finisher for our reputable client based in Glasgow, Govan area. This is a temp to perm position, with a full-time work offered for the correct candidate after a 12-week training period.

Pay Rate: £26,000 pa + £3,000 shift allowance - DOE

Working Days/Hours: Weekly rotational shift pattern Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm / Monday to Friday 1.30pm to 10pm

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in large format printing sector
  • Very good attention to detail
  • Experience in operating Swiss Q Durst H250 & Epson print machines - training provided if needed
  • Experience in operating Kongsberg & Zund DDC cutters - training provided if needed
  • Experience in operating laminating machinery and presses

Scope Of Daily Duties:

  • Operate, troubleshoot & manage finishing products using a range of manual and automated equipment and techniques to fulfil customer requirements.
  • Take ownership of jobs to ensure successful outcomes are achieved, meeting client expectations in terms of efficient delivery, quality and accurate adherence to specific instructions.
  • Ensure all tools and machinery are maintained and stored securely where appropriate.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company work processes and service procedures.
  • Treat all materials, substrates and company equipment with care.

Essential Competencies:

  • Effective and appropriate communication style
  • Demonstrate an approachable and helpful manner at all times
  • Ability to plan and organise workload
  • Ability to listen, understand, make suggestions and interpret requirements of customers and colleagues
  • Relevant experience in a similar role or environment in Print, POS, Display or manufacturing business.
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Outlook and how to download and send emails.
