Our client based in Glasgow is currently looking for a time served 18th Edition Electrician to support their waste water projects. We urgently require an 18th Edition electrician for a temporary contract for our client who is based in Irvine. The role is for waste water sites in and around Inverclyde and Ayrshire area and this would be for around 5/6 weeks.

Role:

  • Planned and corrective electrical maintenance activities on a varied range of plant and equipment.
  • Fault finding and root cause failure identification.
  • Swift breakdown resolution in emergency situations.
  • Perform strip down, repair, overhaul and test of various electrical plant.

Must haves:

  • Time served apprenticeship papers/card
  • 18th Edition
  • Waste Water Treatment experience
  • Experience of valves, pumps and actuators
  • Travel to customer job site, evaluate issues and repair or refurbish
  • Ability to read engineering drawings/circuit diagrams
  • Good attention to detail
  • Current CSCS card
  • Current certificate in confined space
  • Own transport required
