Mechanical Fitter My client based that is based in Renfrew, are looking for skilled bareshaft mechanical fitters to assemble screw compressors to engineering specification. Testing screw compressors hydraulically and pneumatically to specification also. The role is a permanent one to join their talented team. The Role: Assemble Screw Compressors to specifications Test screw compressors hydraulically and pneumatically to specification Skills: Must have SQV/Modern Apprenticeship or City & Guilds Certificate in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting Experience of precision manufacturing and assembly of pumps, compressors and turbines. Experience with rotating equipment including balancing of sub assembly components Previous experience of hydrostatic testing of assemblies Able to interpret engineering drawings Hours: Standard working hours are 37 per week Shift allowance on a rotating 3 shift system Early Shift 6am-2pm Backshift 2pm-10pm Nightshift 10pm-6am Sunday Night to Friday AM The Pay: Standard 37 hours are £33,500 pa, rising to £34,500 after training period and review With Shift Allowance £44,555 pa, rising after training and review to £45,885 pa Shift allowance of time plus a third x1.33 The shift pattern rate will rise next year to x 1.42 – £48,990 pa Overtime is available and all at time plus half x1.5 Earning can be up to £53,889 with 10% Overtime Earning can be up to £63,000 with 30% overtime which would equate to a 12 hour shift overtime each week MAA International Ltd are acting as a Recruitment Business and Employment Agency, covering the Central Belt of Scotland for our valued clients.
