La Terrazza at Sale e Pepe Mare, located within The Langham, London, brings the spirit of coastal Italy to one of the capital's most prestigious hotels. Combining exceptional seafood, warm Italian hospitality, and vibrant Mediterranean energy, Sale e Pepe Mare offers guests a truly memorable dining experience. We are seeking passionate and professional Waiters / Waitresses to join our team from the end of June. Initially, you will be part of the service team on La Terrazza, our seasonal outdoor dining destination, before transitioning into the main restaurant later in the year. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Waiter / Waitress who enjoys delivering exceptional hospitality, building genuine connections with guests, and working within a premium restaurant environment.
The Role
As a Waiter / Waitress, you will be responsible for delivering attentive, knowledgeable, and memorable service throughout the guest journey. You will guide guests through the menu, make food and beverage recommendations, take orders accurately, and ensure every table receives warm, professional hospitality that reflects the standards of Sale e Pepe Mare. Working closely with Supervisors, Sommeliers, Bartenders, and the wider front-of-house team, you will help create a seamless and enjoyable dining experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service to guests
- Build rapport with guests and create memorable dining experiences
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of menus, ingredients, wines, and daily specials
- Make confident food and beverage recommendations
- Take and process orders accurately
- Ensure tables are prepared and maintained to the highest standards
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams
- Support smooth service flow during busy periods
- Handle guest requests and feedback professionally
- Follow all food safety, health & safety, and company procedures
About You
We are looking for a Waiter / Waitress who:
- Has previous experience as a Waiter / Waitress in a quality restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
- Is passionate about hospitality and guest service
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates professionalism and attention to detail
- Has strong food and beverage knowledge or a willingness to learn
- Is a positive and supportive team player
- Takes pride in creating exceptional guest experiences
- Has the right to live and work in the UK
