Thesleff Group is one of London's leading hospitality businesses, operating a portfolio of award-winning restaurants and luxury dining concepts including Los Mochis, Sale e Pepe Mare, Juno Omakase, Viajante87, Luna Omakase and MA/NA.
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function for two restaurants within the group. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a hands-on role responsible for financial reporting, controls, reconciliations and business partnering within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities- Produce monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile payroll, revenue, settlements and key control accounts
- Review financial performance and investigate variances
- Support audits, budgeting and forecasting activities
- Drive process improvements and support finance automation projects
- Build strong relationships with operational and senior management teams
- Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar
- Hospitality, restaurant, hotel or leisure sector experience preferred
- Strong month-end reporting and reconciliation experience
- Excellent understanding of AP, AR and payroll accounting
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
- Organised, commercially aware and able to meet tight deadlines
- Experience with Power BI, Simphony, Fourth or Infor SUN would be advantageous
