About the Opportunity
We’re supporting a leading AI organisation in the search for a Manager, Applied AI (Startups) to lead their engagement with high-growth startups across EMEA. This is a senior leadership role at the intersection of AI, startups, and go-to-market, focused on driving adoption of cutting-edge LLM technologies across the region.
The Role
You will build and lead a team of Applied AI Architects and Engineers, working closely with early-stage and scaling startups to design and deploy AI-driven products. Alongside team leadership, you will play a key role in shaping the company’s technical presence across the EMEA startup ecosystem, collaborating with founders, investors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, hire, and lead a high-performing Applied AI team across EMEA
- Partner with GTM and Sales leadership to drive startup adoption of AI solutions
- Engage directly with strategic startups on LLM integration and deployment
- Represent the organisation across industry events, accelerators, and VC networks
- Deliver technical workshops, content, and community initiatives
- Build relationships across VCs, incubators, and startup ecosystems
- Provide market and product feedback to internal Product & Engineering teams
Candidate Profile
- 7+ years in Applied AI, Solutions Engineering, or customer-facing technical roles
- 5+ years of team leadership experience, including scaling technical teams
- Strong understanding of LLMs and modern AI systems
- Experience working with startups or high-growth environments
- Ability to operate across multiple EMEA markets and cultures
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Founder or early-stage startup experience
- Exposure to VC / accelerator ecosystems
- Experience across multiple European markets
- Additional European language skills
