Hybrid: Herne Hill, 3 days in the office

Salary: Up to £32,000, depending on experience and company benefits. Commission: circa £20,000 OTE

As Senior Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving commercial growth across MA Healthcare’s wound care portfolio, working across a powerful mix of print, digital, events and medical education. This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious sales professional ready to take the next step in their media sales career. You will join one of MA Healthcare’s core therapy areas, helping to grow a respected portfolio that supports clinicians and improves patient care. The portfolio includes the Journal of Wound Care, the British Journal of Community Nursing, including BJCN’s quarterly Community Wound Care supplement, BJN’s quarterly Tissue Viability supplement, and our Wound Care Handbook platform. It also includes established UK and US events, with clear plans for further growth.

This role would suit someone energetic, commercially curious and ready for more ownership. You may already have some sales experience and now want a role where you can develop your confidence, manage a varied portfolio and see the impact of your work across a fast‑paced, specialist healthcare media market.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own and deliver revenue across print, digital, events and medical education products.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of UK and international clients, maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities, clearly communicating the value of the portfolio.
  • Work closely with the associate publisher on sales strategy, budgeting and growth opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with wound care organisations and associations to increase visibility.
  • Collaborate with editorial, production and marketing teams to deliver campaigns on time.
  • Contribute ideas for new products and services to support portfolio development.
  • Plan and prioritise your work to meet targets and deadlines, with flexibility to travel across the UK.

Must-haves:

  • Experience in selling solutions to your customers enjoying the challenge of delivering against targets.
  • Strong communication skills, able to build rapport and credibility with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness, with a proactive and tenacious approach to winning and growing business.
  • Confidence working cross‑functionally with editorial, marketing and production teams.
