A unique opportunity has emerged within M4 as we launch a brand-new, forward-thinking Senior Business Manager position within our North Territory. This role is a key part of our innovative growth and expansion strategy, giving you the chance to influence, shape and lead from day one.

Suitable candidates must have previous recruitment experience, desirably in the transport, logistics, driving or industrial sectors. We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven leader with a high-energy approach to sales and operational excellence. This position combines strategic leadership, hands-on client management, and managing an existing portfolio of Managers & Accounts whilst also building a personal billings portfolio, empowering you to make a tangible impact across the region. This is purely a sales and service role; all recruitment, onboarding and compliance activities are handled by our Talent team. Experience within the Driving & Industrial recruitment sector, ideally temporary recruitment, is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and support a team of Territory Managers to deliver high-quality sales and operational performance.
  • Provide resolution for escalated service issues.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on both sales and service quality.
  • Oversee workload distribution, ensuring efficient cover is available for planned and unplanned absence to answer client queries, and deliver service commitments.
  • Manage a personal portfolio of key clients, conduct regular review meetings, share performance insights, and identify opportunities to enhance service value.
  • Support the wider business development strategy by contributing insights, identifying prospects, and participating in targeted sales activity.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure proposals, pricing, and service commitments align with operational capability.
