M4 are recruiting Reach Truck FLT Drivers on behalf of our Client, a national distribution company, to join their team based out of their Distribution Centre in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The role involves working as a forklift driver on one of the following shifts;
- 14.00 – 22.00, Sunday to Thursday – £13.49 per hour; OT after 40 hours £20.10 per hour
- 22.00 – 06.00, Sunday to Thursday – £14.78 per hour; OT after 40 hours £22.16 per hour
FLT licences must be either RTITB or ITSSAR accredited.
You will be required to work in the warehouse and will be loading and unloading vehicles using a boom attachment, as well as performing any other warehouse duties required.
Full training will be provided on all equipment.
Responsibilities
- Work within a team under pressure and handle a fast‑paced busy environment
- Load and unload vehicles using a FLT truck
- Be available to work weekly as per the shift pattern
Qualifications
- Current Reach Truck license – essential
- Driving licence desirable for travel to and from location
- Experience with loading operations
- Reach FLT experience with a refresher within the last three years (RTITB or ITSSAR)
- Physically fit, able to perform heavy lifting
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
