HGV Class 1 Driver

M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced HGV 1 (C+E) Drivers for ad hoc work with a well-established distribution client located in Middlewich. Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.

This is a flexible driving role ideal for drivers looking for varied shifts, with predominantly day work and the potential for occasional nights out.

The role involves store deliveries using HGV Class 1 vehicles, completing manual tipping using a tail lift. You will be responsible for ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures. This is a varied role with ad hoc shifts available, offering flexibility for drivers who want to pick up additional work alongside other commitments.

£18.36 per hour with flexible ad hoc shifts, mainly day work with occasional nights out required. You will be working with a reputable national distribution company, with ongoing opportunities for regular work depending on performance and business needs.

Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence, valid Driver CPC Qualification Card, and Digital Tachograph Card. Candidates should have good experience with store deliveries and be comfortable with manual tipping using tail lift equipment. A professional, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude is essential.
