If so, we have a great opportunity for you!Our client is looking for Porters to join their home delivery team based in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25 6JH). You will be working alongside a Class 2 HGV driver, assisting with the safe and timely delivery of products directly to customers' homes and other locations.This is a Temp-to-Perm position, offering the opportunity for the right candidates to secure a permanent role. You will be working Tuesday to Saturday, with 5am starts, and pay rates ranging from £13.09 to £19.64 per hour.You will typically assist with between 5 and 15 deliveries per day, depending on the route. This is a hands‑on role involving the lifting, carrying and movement of goods, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS check.What you’ll do on a typical day:Assist with approximately 5–15 deliveries per day to customers' homes and other locations.Work alongside a Class 2 HGV driver to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle.Assist with the safe handling, lifting and movement of goods at delivery locations.Provide excellent face‑to‑face customer service and represent the company professionally.Follow safe working practices at all times, ensuring the safety of yourself, your driver and customers.Help ensure deliveries are completed accurately and within the expected timeframes.What you need to succeed:A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves regular lifting and handling of goods.A valid DBS check, or the ability to successfully complete the required DBS screening.Previous experience in a delivery, warehouse or manual handling role would be advantageous.A positive, flexible attitude towards work and the ability to work as part of a team.Good communication and customer service skills.Reliability, excellent timekeeping and a professional approach.Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday, with 5:00am starts.What’s in it for you:Competitive pay rates of £13.09–£19.64 per hour.Temp-to-Perm opportunity for the right candidates.Ongoing work with a regular Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule.The opportunity to work as part of an established home delivery team.If you're reliable, physically fit and looking for an ongoing opportunity with the potential to secure permanent employment, we'd love to hear from you
