M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for HGV 2 Drivers to join our customers fleet on a temp to perm or ad hoc basis based out of their distribution centre in Warrington.

Start times between 5am – 6.30am Rate of pay -£16.89 per hour The role Working with a drivers mate, you will be delivering premium kitchen bathroom products to customers throughout the region.

Deliveries are primarily made to private residential addresses .

The average workload is an average of 2 - 13 deliveries per day, depending on the route allocated and if large or small deliveries.

Drivers will be issued with a PDA device at the depot, which is used to record all deliveries.

Customer signatures and photographic proof of delivery are required at every stop.

The role will involve a mixture of: Deliveries using the pump truck provided Deliveries using a sack barrow Manual handling of goods where required

Key

Responsibilities: Drive Company vehicles and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and legislation.

Comply with the vehicle security and always standing procedure.

Carry out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to the operation of any vehicle, reporting any defects immediately.

Report any delivery issues or exceptions in a timely manner.

On return to site, you will report to the traffic office for full debrief.

This role ability to self-manage and use initiative for solving problems.

Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting.

Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.

Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.

Digital Tachograph Card.

Must have at least 1 years proven HGV driving experience No more than 6 minor points on your licence Good communication and customer service skills.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Reliable and professional approach to work.
