M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for 5 x 7.5 T Drivers to join our customers fleet on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis based out of their distribution centre in Hemel Hempstead.
Licence
Requirements: Valid UK 7.5T (7.5 T or Category C) Licence Valid CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card No more than 6 penalty points (subject to review for minor points ) The Role You will be delivering premium bathroom products to customers throughout the region.
Deliveries are primarily made to commercial premises, although some deliveries will be to private residential addresses.
The average workload is up to 13 deliveries per day, depending on the route allocated.
Generally, the greater the distance travelled, the fewer delivery drops will be assigned.
Drivers will be issued with a PDA device at the depot, which is used to record all deliveries.
Customer signatures and photographic proof of delivery are required at every stop.
The role will involve a mixture of: Deliveries using the pump truck provided Deliveries using a sack barrow Manual handling of goods where required Communication Strong communication skills are essential.
Drivers must maintain regular contact with the transport office throughout the working day, providing clear updates at the start, during, and end of each shift.
Any delivery failures, incidents, delays, or issues must be reported promptly and thoroughly.
