M4 Recruitment are looking for an experienced Class 2 (18T) White Glove Driver & Installer to join its growing transport team in Colnbrook. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity offering stable weekday hours, excellent long-term prospects, and the chance to work on premium delivery and installation projects across the UK.

The Role

This is more than just a driving job. As a White Glove Driver & Installer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-value goods directly to customers, providing a first-class delivery experience, and carrying out installations where required. You'll be the face of the business, ensuring every delivery is completed professionally, safely, and to the highest standard.

Day-to-day duties include:

  • Completing scheduled white glove deliveries and collections across the UK.
  • Transporting high-value or specialist items with care and attention.
  • Delivering goods into customers' homes, offices, or commercial premises.
  • Installing and assembling products on-site, ensuring they are fully operational where required.
  • Removing and disposing of packaging responsibly, leaving customer premises clean and tidy.
  • Loading, unloading, and securing goods safely using the correct handling techniques.
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
  • Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining proof of delivery.
  • Communicating with the transport office regarding schedules, customer updates, and any delays.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and representing Global Cargo Services professionally at every delivery.
  • Occasionally staying away overnight when operational requirements demand.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
  • Minimum of 2 years' Class 2 driving experience.
  • Valid DBS check (essential).
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous experience in white glove delivery, furniture installation, or home/commercial installations would be highly advantageous.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and carrying out basic assembly and installation work.
  • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting as part of a two-person delivery team when required.
  • Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights out.
