About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard & Warehouse Operative. This hands-on role involves managing stock, loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining an organised yard and warehouse environment, and operating a forklift safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will hold a valid forklift licence and have experience working in a warehouse, yard, or similar operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift truck
- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard and warehouse
- Carrying out stock checks and inventory control
- Assisting customers and suppliers when required
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider operations team with general warehouse and yard duties
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse and/or yard experience
