The Role
As the site Microbiology Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining product safety, quality, and compliance across the business. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting microbiological testing on products, raw materials, water, and the manufacturing environment
- Supporting new product launches by working closely with R&D and Production teams
- Investigating microbiological deviations and driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Leading microbiological validation activities including hygiene verification and CIP systems
- Monitoring trends and proactively identifying contamination risks before they become issues
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, stock control, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
We want someone who can hit the ground running and bring solid microbiology experience into a busy manufacturing setting. You'll ideally have:
