We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Refuse & Recycling Drivers to join a dedicated and professional team supporting essential waste and recycling services across Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with the potential to move into permanent employment.
As an HGV Class 2 Refuse & Recycling Driver, you will play a key role in keeping the city clean and supporting environmental sustainability:
- Safely operating a Class 2 refuse and recycling vehicle.
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects.
- Assisting with the collection of waste and recycling materials.
- Loading and unloading recycling boxes and containers.
- Providing support to other service areas, including recycling and garden waste collections when required.
Requirements:
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Good knowledge of driver hours, tachograph regulations and road transport legislation.
- A positive, reliable and flexible approach to work.
- The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
