M4 Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to join one of our well-established clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work throughout the busy events season, delivering catering equipment to some of the UK's biggest festivals, shows, and racecourses.

The Role

  • Delivering catering equipment to festivals, shows, racecourses, and other event venues
  • Completing 24 deliveries or collections per day
  • Assisting with unloading alongside an experienced on-site team
  • Moving equipment on wheels, with no heavy manual lifting required
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately
  • Following all transport legislation, driver hours, and health & safety procedures

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 4:00am and 5:00am
  • Occasional Saturday work may be available depending on the event schedule
  • Ongoing work available until September
  • Immediate starts available

Pay

  • £18.00 per hour
  • Weekly pay

Requirements

  • A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
  • A valid Driver CPC qualification
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • A minimum of 2 years' Class 1 driving experience (insurance requirement)
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • A good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
  • A reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work
