We are recruiting an experienced Counterbalance or Reach Forklift Driver to join a large, well-established national company based in Patchway, Bristol. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position working weekly rotating shifts. You must be able to work both shift patterns.
Duties will include:
- Operating a counterbalance or reach forklift safely
- Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing goods
- Booking in and scanning stock
- Managing goods-in and goods-out processes
- Stock consolidation and movement
- Completing accurate stock checks and paperwork
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and management
- Supporting other warehouse duties when required
Essential requirements:
- A Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence
- In-house forklift licences can be accepted
- Candidates with a recently expired RTITB-accredited licence may also be considered, with refresher training available
- Previous warehouse or goods-in experience
- Ability to work both rotating shifts
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A reliable, organised and safety-conscious approach
- Strong attention to detail when scanning and handling stock
