We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 and HGV Class 2 Drivers for a leading logistics operation based in Exeter.
Pay Rates
- HGV Class 1: £19.24 per hour
- HGV Class 2: £17.89 per hour
- Overtime (after 48 hours):
- HGV Class 1: £28.86 per hour
- HGV Class 2: £26.84 per hour
Shift Pattern
- Week 1: Monday to Friday
- Week 2: Monday to Saturday
- 2-hour paid induction provided
The Role
- Store deliveries across the South of England
- Trunking runs between depots
- Delivering goods in roll cages
- Completing accurate records of:
- Deliveries
- Mileage
- Fuel usage
- Any incidents or vehicle defects
- Adhering to company health and safety requirements
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Physically fit due to the nature of the role
- Good understanding of driver compliance and transport regulations
- Reliable and professional attitude
