Tramper Drivers

Job Overview

M4 Specialist are currently recruiting for experienced LTD HGV 1 day & night Tramper Drivers for our client based in Luton, Beds.

Must have a minimum of 2 years HGV 1 experience, be aged 25 and over for insurance purposes, and have no more than 6 minor points. Candidates must have at least a basic level of spoken and written English.

Drivers will be required to complete an assessment and induction prior to receiving shifts.

Pay

Days £20 per hour

Nights £21 per hour

Responsibilities

• Delivering from DC’s to DC’s and from smaller companies to DC’s
• Handling some palletised goods
• Unloading at site
• Securing load of trailer to ensure the safety at all times
• Attend assessment and any driver training required in order to carry out the role.

Qualifications

• Full UK License (UK)
• HGV 1 License (UK)
• Minimum 2 years experience
• DIGI card (UK)
• CPC card (UK)
• Maximum of 6 minor points
• Ideally have previous retail / DC driving experience
• Excellent reversing skills
• Must be flexible in relation to shifts and duties.
• Must be able to provide a time critical delivery service in line with customer targets.
