M4 Recruitment is seeking a reliable and dedicated Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our client's waste management team in Epping. This role is ideal for drivers who enjoy early starts, consistent hours, and a position that offers progression after an initial period.
Key Details
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Additional: 1 Saturday in every 3
- Standard shift start: 3:00am
- Every 3rd week shift start: 2:00pm
- Shift Length: Approximately 8‑9 hours per day
- Pay Rate: £17 per hour initially; £20 per hour after 12 weeks (if taken on permanently)
- Position: Temp‑to‑perm potential
Role Responsibilities
- Drive a Class 2 vehicle on designated waste collection routes
- Work alongside a team of loaders to complete daily schedules
- Ensure safe and compliant vehicle operations at all times
- Conduct routine vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Provide excellent service to the public and maintain a positive attitude
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in refuse collection is beneficial but not essential
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
