M4 Specialist are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers based out of our clients Distribution Centre in Thrapston NN14 working on day or night shift.
Job requirements:
- As a HGV 1 Driver, you will carry out a mix of multidrop and trunking deliveries, while collecting waste from stores in line with operational requirements.
- Handle both palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading procedures.
- Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous at all times.
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time.
Successful applicants will need:
- Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
- Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
- Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
- No more than 6 current penalty points.
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements.
- You are required to have 2+ years of experience as a HGV Driver.
Hourly Rates:
- HGV 1 – days = £17.45 per hour & nights = £20.94 per hour.
- HGV 2 – days = £15.34 per hour & nights = £18.41 per hour.
Drivers will be required to complete an assessment.
