Are you a Class 2 HIAB driver looking for a change? Would you like to work for a market leading company with fantastic benefits? If so, we have a great opportunity for you! Our client is looking for a Class 2 HIAB driver to join their home delivery team at Wickes Lincoln.

You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of multi‑drop and direct deliveries of our customers’ products. This is a temporary position for the peak period ending approximately 26/09/2026; it may become full‑time for the right candidate. You will start at 7 am, Monday to Friday, with additional Saturdays during the 10‑week peak period, scheduled via rota. You will be based at the home store but collecting and delivering out of the surrounding area and stores. Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS search.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Typically complete an average of 5–10 deliveries per day
  • Deliver bulk items to customers’ homes using a Class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes stores
  • Adhere to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others
  • Remain flexible on start times as dictated by the needs of the business
  • Provide excellent face‑to‑face customer service to customers

What you need to succeed:

  • A full UK driving licence with Category 2 entitlement
  • Possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • Previous experience in a customer‑facing role (advantage)
  • A positive, flexible attitude toward work and reliable timekeeping with the ability to work independently
  • Hiab licence – ALLMI C5 licence – conversions and refreshers provided (GXO funded alongside a training agreement)
