M4 Recruitment is currently seeking experienced & newly passed HGV 2 Multi-Drop Drivers on behalf of our client, a well-established national distribution company based in Hemel Hempstead. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent weekday work with competitive pay on a temp to perm role.
Role Details
- Location: Hemel Hempstead
- Start Time: 05:00/06:00
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Average Shift Length: 10 hours per day
- Pay Rate: £18.07 per hour - £46,000 once permanent
- Overtime paid after 50 hours per week
The Role
As part of a dedicated delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering rolls of carpet to stores and storage facilities. The role involves an average of 10-15 drops per day and always requires a professional and customer-focused approach.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid HGV 2 (Category C) licence
- Minimum of 2 years HGV 2 driving experience preferred but not essential
- Maximum of 3 minor penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Proven multi-drop delivery experience (essential)
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy goods
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, professional attitude
- Reliable and able to commit to Monday-Friday work on an ongoing basis
- Previous experience in a similar distribution role would be advantageous.
