We are looking for HGV Class 1 Hiab drivers to join our customers' team, based in Warrington. Successful drivers will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of multi-drop and direct delivery of our customers' products. This is a full-time temporary position. You will be starting at 07:00, Monday to Friday, with additional Saturdays on a rota. You will be based at the home store but collecting and delivering out of surrounding areas and stores.
Client will pay for Hiab refresher if expired. Locations and pay rates below:
- Warrington - £17.00 per hour
Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS search.
Job role:
- You will typically complete an average of 5-10 deliveries per day.
- Delivering bulk items to customers' homes using a HGV Class 1 Hiab vehicle from stores.
- Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business.
- Providing excellent face-to-face customer service to customers.
Requirements:
- A full UK driving licence with HGV category class 1 entitlement and Hiab licence.
- Being in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role would be an advantage.
- Have a positive, flexible attitude toward work and be a reliable timekeeper with the ability to work independently.
- HIAB licence ALLMIC 5 Licence Refresher can be arranged.
- Candidates must have or complete a DBS check prior to starting.
