M4 Specialist are currently recruiting for experienced LTD HGV 1 day & night Tramper Drivers for our client based in Luton, Beds.
Must have a minimum of 2 years HGV 1 experience. Aged 25 and over for insurance purposes. Max 6 minor points. Candidates must have at least a basic level of spoken and written English.
Rate of pay:
- Days £20 per hour
- Nights £21 per hour
Drivers will be required to complete an assessment and induction prior to receiving shifts.
Job role:
- Delivering from DCs to DCs and from smaller companies to DCs
- Some palletised goods
- Unloaded at site
- Securing load of trailer to ensure safety at all times
Must be able to attend assessment and any driver training required in order to carry out the role.
Successful applicants will need:
- Full UK License (UK)
- HGV 1 License (UK)
- Minimum 2 years experience
- DIGI card (UK)
- CPC card (UK)
- Maximum of 6 minor points
- Ideally have previous retail / DC driving experience
- Must have excellent reversing skills
- Must be flexible in relation to shifts and duties
- Must be able to provide a time critical delivery service in line with customer targets
