M4 are recruiting 7.5 tonne / HGV 2 home delivery drivers for our client, a national home delivery company based in Bedford to work Tuesday to Saturday 06.00 starts.
Pay: £15.73 per hour
Job Details:
- Complete multi drop delivery of heavy/white goods/home goods to customers' homes.
- DBS Check is required.
- Work as part of a 2-person crew with a driver's mate.
- Must be able to drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Always comply with health and safety standards, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations at all times.
Role Requirements:
- Previous professional driving experience is essential.
- Hold a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Excellent communication skills and able to provide a 1st class customer experience.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring adherence to parking, speed and road signage.
- Work safely within the health and safety environmental guidelines, and ensure all vehicle checks are carried out prior to commencement of work.
- Are flexible in approach to work, and work effectively as part of a team.
