M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on individual who can drive productivity, maintain high quality standards, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (08:30 – 17:00)
Salary: £30,000 per annum Temp to Perm (following successful probation)
The Role
As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations while maintaining high levels of accuracy and performance. You will lead by example, support your team, and continuously look for ways to improve processes and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quality of goods
- Measure and report on warehousing activities and employee performance
- Organise and maintain inventory and storage areas
- Ensure accuracy of shipments and inventory transactions
- Communicate job expectations clearly and coach team members
- Determine staffing levels and allocate workload effectively
- Maintain item records, complete required documentation, and use reports to project warehouse status
- Identify areas for improvement and implement new or revised procedures
- Liaise and coordinate activities with the General Manager
About You
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader
- Valid Counterbalance FLT License
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Experience using warehouse management systems and good MS Office skills
- Confident in data input, retrieval, and analysis
- Hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to effectively direct and coordinate operations
