M4 Recruitment are actively recruiting for a qualified, experienced Electrician to join an exciting contract in the Southall area.

Location: Southall

Pay rate: Β£18 an hour

M4 Recruitment are urgently seeking a Band 4 Electrician to support the Estates Team at West London NHS Trust. This is a key role within a busy NHS environment, providing essential electrical maintenance and support services.

You will be responsible for carrying out both routine and non-routine electrical work, including:

  • Carrying out new works, repairs, and routine planned maintenance to electrical services
  • Responding to reactive maintenance requests
  • Assisting with minor new installations
  • Completing weekly Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) dockets efficiently
  • Escorting contractors during inspections and installations
  • Strictly adhering to Trust policies and procedures
  • Maintaining tool lists
  • Complying with all Health & Safety and Security Regulations

Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Part II or
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Services

Experience:

  • Experience across the electrical trade
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Previous NHS experience (desirable but not essential)

Other Requirements:

  • Own tools and PPE
  • Strong communication skills – able to interact at all levels
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Computer literate
  • Full manual driving licence
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Willing to travel to other London sites if required

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
  • Friday: 08:00 – 16:00
