We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver's Mate to join our transport team. You will work alongside our delivery drivers to help ensure goods are delivered safely, on time, and with excellent customer service. This is a hands-on role that involves physical work, teamwork, and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods
- Ensure items are handled carefully and delivered to the correct locations
- Help navigate routes and communicate with customers on delivery times
- Complete paperwork or delivery notes accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the vehicle and at delivery sites
- Provide excellent customer service on every job
About You
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely
- Punctual, dependable, and a team player
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexible with working hours; early starts, weekends, or overtime may be required
- Previous experience in a delivery or warehouse role is an advantage but not essential; full training provided
