M4 Recruitment is working with a reputable company seeking an Operations Coordinator / Manager to support the Operations Director and Business Manager. This is a great opportunity for a proactive, detail-focused individual to join a growing team. Due to the location of the site, having your own vehicle is highly recommended.

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday (Apply online only) Friday (Apply online only)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan & Coordinate: Schedule and manage work in the assembly and machine shop, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Stock Management: Lead monthly stocktakes and manage the ordering of stock to ensure all materials are in place for production.
  • Customer Service: Develop strong relationships with customers, attend meetings, and support customer changes to enhance the business relationship.
  • Team Support: Oversee staff availability, manage annual leave, and step in to cover other roles as needed.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure full compliance with company policies, including health and safety regulations, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills - you'll be the point of contact for both internal teams and customers.
  • Organisational skills - you should be able to manage schedules, stock, and multiple tasks with a keen eye for detail.
  • Problem-solving abilities - able to think on your feet and keep things running smoothly in a busy environment.
  • A forklift license would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Previous experience in operations or production is preferred, but we're mainly looking for someone who is adaptable, proactive, and a team player.
  • Own transport is strongly recommended due to the location of the site.
