M4 Recruitment are currently seeking Warehouse / Maintenance Operatives to join a well-established company based in Cricklade. This isn’t your typical warehouse role – it’s hands-on, varied, and gives you the chance to be involved in repairs, maintenance, and installation as well as traditional warehouse duties. Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and a Counterbalance FLT licence.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30am – 4:30pm)
About the Role: You’ll be actively involved in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping to ensure products are maintained, prepared, and delivered to a high standard. This role is 30% FLT work and 70% maintenance and hands-on duties, offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to take pride in the quality of your work. It’s ideal for someone practical, proactive, and confident working with tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (approx. 30% of the role)
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Working within the company’s yard
- Carrying out light assembly work
- Assisting with repairs, maintenance, and installation of products
- Preparing products for dispatch
- Conducting quality checks on finished products
- Ensuring all products are stored safely and correctly within the warehouse
Requirements:
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Must have experience using power tools
- Must hold a valid driving licence
- Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Strong work ethic and a reliable, hardworking approach
