Job Description

On behalf of Southampton based client, M4 Recruitment are looking for reliable and experienced Porters/ Driver’s Mates who can work in an ongoing assignment.\\n\\nYou will be working in a two-person team, delivering a very high quality of domestic goods to residential homes and expected to provide the highest level of professional customer service. In addition to this, the job demands an active and hands-on approach with moving heavy items.\\n\\nAs a Porter Drivers Mate, your main duties would be as follows:\\n\\n * Customer service-related duties\\n\\n * Load and unload\\n\\n * Assisting other crews to complete work when requested to do so\\n\\n * Ensuring that you always maintain a courteous and professional demeanour with the public and your colleagues\\n\\n * Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required to maintain a safe, clean working environment and service to our customers.\\n\\nThe client is offering:\\n\\n * Full training\\n\\n * Parking on site\\n\\n * Subsided canteen\\n\\n * Safety measures are in place\\n\\nTo be a successful applicant for this position Porter/ Drivers Mate, you will be required to have the following skills.\\n\\n * Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues\\n\\n * A team player\\n\\n * Reliable, punctual\\n\\n * A "safety-first" mind-set\\n\\n * The ability to follow detailed processes to ensure the Health and Safety procedures are followed.\\n\\nYou will be working full-time, 6 am starts (40-45 hours per week).\\n\\nPay is £12.21 per hour.\\n\\nM4 Recruitment are an employment business and operates as an equal opportunities’ employer.
