We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading supplier of goods to businesses, who is looking for reliable and professional Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. Work is due to start from March 2026 with assessments offered second half of February for potential candidates.
The Role:
- Complete 4 to 12 deliveries per shift
- Some Handball is involved – mostly moving cages, with help provided at sites - need to be reasonable fit for this role
- Delivering a mix of chilled, frozen, and ambient food to stores
- Overtime paid at time and a quarter after 48 hours
- Opportunity to go permanent after 26 weeks
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 (HGV1) driving experience
- Valid CPC and Tachograph
- A positive attitude and good presentation – you’ll be the face of the company
- Willingness to undergo a drug & alcohol test during assessment
- Previous multi-drop and temperature-controlled experience is beneficial but not essential – full 2-week training provided
