Airside Driver

Join the airside operations team at one of the world’s busiest airports — Heathrow! We’re looking for skilled and safety-conscious Airside Drivers to transport cargo, baggage, and equipment across restricted airport zones. If you have an HGV or PCV licence and thrive in a fast-paced, secure environment, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate airside vehicles to move cargo, baggage, and equipment between terminals and aircraft.
• Handle all items with care, following airport and company procedures.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Ensure timely, efficient movement of goods while collaborating with ground operations teams.
• Follow strict airport safety protocols and complete all required documentation accurately.

Shift Pattern

• 4 on, 2 off rotational schedule.
• Two early shifts followed by two late shifts.
• Flexibility for early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Pay Rate:

• Standard: £15.31 per hour basic hours of 37.5 in a week
• Monday–Friday Overtime: £21.55 after working 37.5 hours in a week
• Saturday & Sunday overtime £28.74 after working 37.5 hours in a week
• Weekend/Bank Holiday Overtime: £28.74

What You Need

• A valid HGV C, HGV C+C, or PCV licence.
• Ability to provide a 5-year work history via HMRC records.
• A clean DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
• Previous experience in secure, fast-paced environments like airports (preferred).
• Willingness to complete Airside Driver Training before starting.
