M4 Recruitment are seeking a skilled Reach Truck FLT Driver to join our clients warehouse team based in SN3. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to handle and store goods, as well as performing a variety of warehouse duties to support our day-to-day operations. A flexible, proactive approach is essential, as you'll be working across different tasks to ensure the warehouse runs smoothly.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Reach Truck to safely move goods and materials within the warehouse, efficiently stacking and retrieving items from high racking systems.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, such as picking, packing, sorting, and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Organise and store stock, ensuring it's placed in the correct locations and rotated regularly to prevent damage or expiry issues.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and report any discrepancies.
- Load and unload deliveries, checking the condition of goods upon arrival and ensuring correct storage.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment, following health and safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Take on ad-hoc tasks as needed to assist the wider team and improve warehouse efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Valid Reach Truck FLT license is essential.
- Counterbalance FLT license is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience operating a Reach Truck in a warehouse setting is required.
- A flexible and proactive approach to work, with the ability to assist in various warehouse tasks as needed.
